Welcome to any bike enthusiasts out there!
This is my beautiful Marin. Probably an unoriginal name for my bike considering the company name is Marin, but I pronounce it Mare-in after the character in The Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening.
Marin is one of those hybrid bikes. I don't like the hunched over position of road bikes - it feels like I'm going to fall over. And I've only ever gone mountain biking once. So she's a good fit. Not my ideal bike, but when I got her I was very ambivalent about what I ended up with - I just knew I wanted a comfortable seat, to be sitting a little more upright, and to be able to get from point A to point B. If I were buying a new bike now I'd be a little more picky.
Graduation was just two months ago and I rode to the ceremony in my cap and gown on my trusty Marin.
